Fruit Loops or Cheerios cereal
Pipe cleaner
String

What you do:
Fold the pipe cleaner in half.
Form the pipe cleaner as shown. Place Fruit Loops or Cheerios inside a container.
Let children wash their hands before starting this activity. Hand a folded pipe cleaner and a bowl of cereal to each child. Demonstrate to children how to string the cereal loops on the pipe cleaner.
Once the two pipe cleaner halves are filled with cereal loops, bring the two ends together and twist.
Attach a string to the top. Let children wear their bracelets or hang bracelets from a tree for a bird's treat.
Option: Let children give their heart necklace to a friend or to their mom for Mother's Day.
