Five Little Penguins Jumping On the Ice Felt Story
What you need:
Five Little Penguins Printables
White felt
Spray glue
Penguins Felt Puppets
What you do:
Print the Five Little Penguins printables and laminate for extra strength. Use spray glue to attach white felt to the back of each penguin. Cut out each penguin. Option: Make some felt penguins.
Instructions:
Place five penguins on the board together with the penguin mama. Recite the rhyme and remove one penguin after another to place beside the mama penguin. Let children make the matching movements.
Option: Circle Game
Choose five children to be the penguins. Recite the rhyme and point and call out the name of one of the children. The child pretends to slip and fall on the floor. Choose a child to be the Mama and hug the child and bring it back to his/her seat. Continue until all five penguins are back on their seats.
